The Alberta Ferret Society (AFS) is a non-profit, charitable organization that provides rescue and adoption services while promoting responsible pet ownership. The AFS consists entirely of volunteers. No individual, from the board members to the volunteers that carry out the day-to-day operations, receives compensation for their efforts. Everyone works together toward a common goal of ensuring that every rescued adoptable animal receives a second chance in a new home. With your support we can reach that goal!
MAKE A DONATION
Donations over $20 are tax deductible and all funds go directly to support shelter ferrets. Unfortunately we can only offer Canadian citizens tax receipts at this time.
Donations can be made through PayPal, CanadaHelps.org or SOS (Support Our Shelters). You can also send a donation directly to the AFS by mail or become a member to show your support.

 | The funds that S.O.S. raises go into a general pool for periodic distribution to shelters. Support is provided in the form of payment to shelter vets or gift certificates for ferret supplies. S.O.S. also administers donations designated for a specific shelter, shelter vet or emergency rescues of large numbers of ferrets. |
