Murphy



As you can see by the picture, Murphy is not the best looking of ferrets.  This poor boy was found wandering on a hiking trail.  He has advanced adrenal disease which is what has caused the hair loss and yellowing of his fur.  

Underneath this startling exterior is a ferret that is hard not to love.  Murphy enjoys wandering around his foster home and checking things out.

Update Nov 1/06 - After several Lupron injections our boy Murphy is finally growing some hair! Check out the newest images to see the transformation for yourself.   Murphy continues to receive medical care for his numerous health issues.

Update Dec 5/06 - We are saddened to report that Murphy was helped to the Rainbow Bridge today.  He took a turn for the worse and we were unable to do anything more for him.
