NASAP is desperately short of cat and kitten foster homes. Please help!
The Northern Alberta Society for Animal Protection (NASAP) is in desperate need of cat and kitten regular, quarantine and permanent care foster homes! We are currently being forced to turn away many, many cats and kittens because of a lack of foster homes. Can you help? NASAP is a volunteer based organization that rescues abandoned, helpless, and unwanted animals by placing them into foster homes and providing care until their forever new adoptive family can be found. You will be provided with all the necessary supplies; food, i.e. cat litter, food, veterinary care, etc. You will never be out of pocket for providing these animals with a chance at a new beginning. All that is required of you is a commitment to the animal in your care, your time, and your love. If you are not able to foster but would love to help the animals who so desperately need our assistance in other ways, we would be happy to discuss other volunteer opportunities such as fundraising, animal transportation, adoption days. If you have a special talent or new ideas, we would love to hear from you! Call 922-0250 or email volunteers@nasap.ca to find out more!

Feline Leukemia Positive Cats and Kittens
NASAP currently has one adult cat and several kittens available for adoption that have tested positive for the feline leukemia virus. These cats will require strictly indoor-only homes with no other resident cats (now or in the future). They will also require regular vaccinations and preventative veterinary care.
These are special cats that require devoted people that will remain committed to them for life. Please direct inquiries to cats@nasap.ca for more information about these cats. Click "Read More" below to learn more about Feline Leukemia.
